Tehran Meat Products Company started its activities on October 28, 1978 in Ahmadabad region of Tehran and Kaleh Amol Meat Products Company started its activities in 1983 in Amol city (Mazandaran province). In 2015, based on macro-organizational policies, these two companies merged with each other and now produce and market their products under the Solico-Calais brand.

The quality of raw materials, especially meat, is the most important concern of this brand, and with the direct research and supervision of nutritionists and veterinarians, the Minerva slaughterhouse is supplied from Brazil.
