National Copper Industries Company of Iran
On July 3, 1972, Sarcheshmeh Kerman Copper Mines Joint Stock Company was formed and in 1976, it was renamed the National Iranian Copper Industries Company, which includes all the activities of the country's copper mines. The duties of this company are extraction and exploitation of copper mines, production of high quality ore products and copper products such as cathode, slab, billet and eight mm wire. Sarcheshmeh and Miduk copper mines in Kerman and Sungun copper mine in East Azarbaijan are among the most important copper mines in the country.
